Our Location
The Fender Chalets on the Stubeck Sonnalm are located at the highest point of a sunny hill. The unobstructed panoramic view of the surrounding mountains is spectacular. Nevertheless, the well-known art and culture town of Gmünd is only about 12 km away.
This exclusive location, with no immediate neighbours and at the end of the street, allows you to fully enjoy the peace and beauty of nature and still be near numerous activities and sights in Carinthia.
Getting There
By car:
Coming from Salzburg, take the Tauern Autobahn A 10 towards Villach for around 130 km, then take exit 130-Gmünd.
At the first roundabout take the 2nd exit and at the next roundabout take the 1st exit.
Then follow the B99 towards Waschanger; at the third road – signposted “Gmünd Zentrum” – turn left.
Turn right before the city gate and follow the signs “Fender Chalets Sonnalm”,
Always keep right for approx. 12 km until the road ends – welcome to the Fender Chalets!
