Information for your stay
Minimum Stay
To ensure the best possible experience, our chalets are preferably rented for stays of 7 nights or more. Subject to availability, shorter stays may also be possible.
For bookings of fewer than 4 nights, a final cleaning fee of €300.00 applies.
Parking
Each chalet features a carport with two parking spaces, including an electric vehicle charging station.
Deposit
Once your booking has been confirmed, we kindly request a deposit of 30% of the total amount, payable 44 days prior to arrival.
The remaining balance is due 5 days before arrival and should be paid by bank transfer (free of charges for the recipient) to the account of Sonnalm Fender Chalet GmbH at DolomitenBank Gmünd:

Arrival and Departure
Check-in: from 3:00 pm
Check-out: by 10:00 am
Local Tourist Tax
The local tourist tax is €2.40 per person per day. From 1 November 2026, the tax will increase to €4.50 per person per day.
The tax applies to guests aged 18 years and over.
Payment Methods
We accept cash, EC card/Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, and advance bank transfer.
Dogs
If you would like to bring your beloved four-legged companion, we are pleased to let you know that dogs are warmly welcome at our chalets.
We understand that your dog is an important part of your family and want to ensure that your stay is enjoyable for both you and your loyal companion.
To ensure the comfort of all guests and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, we kindly ask you to observe the following rules:
- Dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms.
- Dogs are not allowed on the sofa in the living room.
We are happy to provide a comfortable sleeping area for your dog, as well as towels for cleaning paws. We appreciate your support in following these guidelines.
The charge is €35.00 per dog per day (food not included).

Cancellation Policy
or all bookings and reservations of our chalets, the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions 2006 (as amended on 26 January 2026) shall apply.
Should you be unable to take up your stay in our chalets for any reason, we will do our utmost to avoid any costs for you by attempting to re-let the chalet.
However, if we are unable to find alternative guests, the following cancellation terms apply:
Up to 45 days before arrival: free cancellation
44 to 30 days before arrival: 40% of the total booking price
29 to 8 days before arrival: 70% of the total booking price
Within the last 7 days before arrival: 90% of the total booking price
No-show or early departure: 100% of the total booking price
Play It Safe!
With travel cancellation insurance, any cancellation fees that may arise can be reimbursed, allowing you to book your stay at the Fender Chalets Sonnalm for another time with peace of mind.
